Stephen Gay returns to The Railway Correspondence and Travel Society South Wales Branch to take us on a pictorial ride along the Easy Coast Main Line from London Kings Cross to York. This will feature Stevenage, Peterborough, Grantham – the site of the famous record breaking steam engine journey – and Doncaster, where the famous locomotive building and repairing works were situated. He will show us how the line has changed since it was built in the mid Nineteenth Century using his own photographs, many of which will be taken from the most unusual viewpoints.

£2 for non members includes tea or coffee. Tickets in advance please from rctssw@gmail.com or from Peter Fortune on 07963 439 903.
